Responsibilities

As an Operations Professional, you’ll be responsible for a variety of critical responsibilities that serve the executive team. From external communications and investor decks to administrative duties and project management, your responsibilities will stretch across the business and have a massive impact on the future of the company. While the scope and substance of your role will change constantly, here are some of the key responsibilities:

• Administrative Duties: You’ll be expected to schedule meetings for the CEO and key business partners, investors, and potential team members. Other administrative duties include data entry, managing travel arrangements, and event planning tasks.
• Public Relations: From private investor outreach to the company’s external newsletters and press releases, you’ll need to craft and edit compelling, concise copy.
• Project Management: You’ll be expected to track and oversee projects and milestones. Follow-up and organization are key skills.
• Research: A million things come up with a new business. We need someone who can research and recommend options for various business decisions. This could include decisions related to logistics or even strategy, such as investigating potential initiatives and opportunities.
• Everything Else: Purchasing supplies, office set-up, general maintenance. There is no task too large and no task too small.

Qualifications As an assistant to the executive team, you’ll be a critical contributor to every company initiative. That means you need to be highly organized, intuitive, and capable of meeting ambiguity with proactive positivity. In addition, Wright is seeking the following qualifications from Operation Professional candidates:

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
• Entry-level; we are seeking hires immediately post-graduation
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and follow-through skills
• Ability to collaborate with high-performing teams and individuals throughout the company to accomplish common goals
• Experience with planning and executing successful Public Relations efforts, including pitching/writing content, identifying media contacts and arranging interviews, and preparing and distributing press releases and social media content
• An aptitude for learning and handling a large volume of work independently
• Experience managing multiple ongoing projects and tasks
• Proficiency with the Google Suite (Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides) and Microsoft Office Suite (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint.)
• Experience with software and databases such as Hubspot, Microsoft Project, Wordpress, Quickbooks, and Asana is a plus
• Experience in graphic design is a plus
• Experience with or aptitude to learn about accounting / finance is a plus
• Experience in a startup environment is a plus
• Value-driven and aligned with Wright’s mission to decrease greenhouse gas emissions in the aviation sector is a plus
• This position is located in the Albany, NY area.

This is a full-time position with a $50,000 salary. Additional benefits include health, vision, dental, and life insurance as well as retirement benefits and cell phone service reimbursement.
