    The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking an Entry-Level or Associate Industrial Engineer located in Mesa, AZ.

    Position Overview: As an Industrial Engineer, you will apply industrial engineering concepts and techniques to optimize products, processes, and services in alignment with program requirements. You will develop plant layouts, capacity plans, and workflows while evaluating new technologies for integration into production and service operations.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Design, maintain, and optimize production systems by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.

    • Conduct workflow design and analysis to enhance operational efficiency and improve quality.

    • Develop models, databases, and spreadsheets to analyze data, providing summary analysis and metrics for leadership consultation.

    • Research, design, and implement processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, reduce costs, and improve quality.

    • Standardize assembly practices.

    • Prepare operations plans, including budgeting, capacity analysis, and production change management to meet technical goals.

    • Support execution planning through project management, planning, scheduling, and shop load practices.

    • Ensure compliance with industry safety standards and ergonomic guidelines.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

    • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

    • (Level 2) 2+ years work-related experience with a Bachelors degree OR an equivalent combination of work-related experience and technical education.

    • B.S. or higher in Aerospace, Civil or Mechanical Engineering

    • Experience supporting defense and/or aerospace customers

    • Experience with 3D model based instruction

    • Experience with any of the following: IVT, CREO, CATIA, MES, Gold, PrimeR, Aurora, VisVSA, DELMIA,

    • VisMockup, ProModel, FlexSim, 3D Printed Parts, Moonshine Shop, Maker Space, ImDev, ICIDO, Multi- Monitor Collaborative Rooms

    • Experience with Manufacturing Execution System Common Image (MESci)

    Relocation:

    Summary pay range:

    Level 1: $69,700 - $94,300

    Level 2: $83,300 - $112,700
