StandardAero is excited to announce our Information Technology Internship opportunity at our facility at the Augusta Regional Airport (AGS). This will be a paid, 3-month internship , running from June to August. This program is designed for students who are looking to gain hands-on experience and take the first step in their IT career!

StandardAero Augusta is a Business Aviation MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) facility, specialized to support an extensive range of maintenance services for corporate jets. With a significant 80,500 sq ft expansion opening in August 2025, we’re doubling our footprint at AGS and growing our teams!

What You Will Do:

• Deploy and image PC devices, HP EliteBooks, and tablets throughout the facility.
• Develop and maintain standard configurations/imaging for new and repurposed end-user digital devices.
• Manage regular security and software updates.
• Provide installation assistance, maintenance, and support for computer labs, training classroom technology, office technology, and audio-visual systems.
• Ensure the security, coherence, and efficiency of network infrastructure by communicating and coordinating with internal teams.
• Installation/connection of new network printers and network-attached scanning devices in coordination with onsite and corporate IT teams.
• Manage the system-wide inventory and tracking of operational technology assets, including devices and licenses as well as the disposal of decommissioned equipment.
• Understanding of LAN setup and computer networking principles.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for a minimum of 4 hours per day and walk long distances transporting hardware.
• Bend, stretch, crawl, and climb ladders to access difficult areas within the facilities.

Basic Qualifications:

• Qualified applicants must be acurrent student or recent graduate from Augusta University or Augusta Technical CollegeInformation Technology programs
• Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must be available to work 40 hours per week, M-F, 7:30am - 4:30pm.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must be willing to submit to background/ drug screening requirements to meet airport security badging standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience with initial hardware/software deployments
• Prior experience running cables, securing wiring, and establishing LAN connections
• Broad knowledge of networking platforms and devices (SANs, VLANs, wireless, firewalls).
