    The Facilities & Maintenance Lead is responsible for performing routine maintenance activities for the facility, supervising third party vendor relationships for ground maintenance, preventative maintenance programs for facilities equipment, pest control, janitorial services and professional/licensed maintenance support. Additionally, the position is responsible for maintaining a maintenance request database supporting maintenance requests and prioritization of requests based on urgency and workloads.

    What you'll do:

    • Participates in the development, implementation, and management of the company’s CMMS system.
    • Plans, schedules and coordinates external resources in maintenance of company buildings and grounds within an approved budget and timeline.
    • Coordinates all safety and security agreements with approved company contractors.
    • Ensures that plant facilities and equipment remain operational.
    • Develops and implements schedules and procedures for safety inspections, preventative maintenance, and ongoing maintenance programs.
    • Advises on the selection of external contractors to perform maintenance and repair services.
    • Coordinates the regular service and repair of company vehicles.
    • Processes expense authorizations and coordination of purchase orders for all maintenance equipment and supplies.
    • Daily technical support and hands on maintenance work including confined spaces and at height.
    • Assists with janitorial functions, lawn and landscaping maintenance, snow and trash removal, painting, and other minor repairs and services.
    • Identify and report any potential efficiency improvements and/or cost reductions in current systems.
    • Procures and maintains certificates on equipment requiring regulatory inspections (e.g. elevators, boilers, compressors etc.).
    • Ensure all works are carried out in line with industry best practice and comply with current regulations.
    • Adherence to our Quality Management Systems (QMS), Safety Management Systems (SMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and all associated Company Policies.
    • Carries out special projects as assigned.

    Position Requirements:

    • Minimum of five years of building maintenance experience; or equivalent.
    • Thorough knowledge of methods, practices and techniques of maintaining equipment, buildings and facilities.
    • Thorough knowledge of equipment, tools and materials used in building maintenance.
    • Working knowledge of national and local fire, building, plumbing and electrical codes.
    • Good planning, organizational, leadership, interpersonal, analytical, decision making, oral and written communication skills.
    • Ability to read, understand and interpret blueprints.
    • Working knowledge of PCs in the current company operating system environment.

    Salary: $32.37-41 hr.

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, StandardAero considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
