    Our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) Jacksonville facility is seeking Aviation Maintenance Technicians that are motivated to support a greater cause in directly impacting military warfighter readiness by providing critical maintenance repairs and modifications for our military customers.     The professionals chosen to fill these positions will join our MRO organization, working as part of a team in support of our key programs such as military commercial derivatives and fighter aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul. The candidates chosen will be responsible for adherence to established processes, accurate and timely work recording and contractual/regulatory compliance. To ensure we continue to support our customers, we are looking for skilled aircraft maintenance professionals to join our team. Successful applicants will be based in Jacksonville, Florida.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Perform sealing, painting, shimming, and preserving aircraft structures and systems in accordance with standard repair processes.
    • Perform component installations, ceiling, sidewall panels, flight controls and other hydraulic components.
    • Demonstrates the capability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical orders, process specification, and retrofit requirements to perform structural modification/repair.
    • Use of tooling assemblies and fixtures for depot level modification and repair of structural parts.
    • A detailed knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, cable tensiometers, sheet metal brakes and sheers, etc. is required.
    • The mechanic will be required to access aircraft data via computer systems and initiate on-line parts and discrepancy requests.
    • Maintain necessary certifications, licenses and permits as required for assigned work.
    • The candidate must be able to ascend and descend vertical work ladders, and work in confined spaces.
    • Must be able to work various shifts and/or an alternate baseline schedule that may frequently change to support mission requirements and may include weekends and holidays. Mission requirements and/or workload may require both scheduled and unscheduled overtime.

    • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, company processes and procedures
    • Maintain a high standard of organization and cleanliness within assigned work areas, “Clean as You Go”

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Successfully complete a FAA Part 147 curriculum with associated Airframe and Powerplant certifications (or anticipate successful completion within 3 months or prior to start date)
    • Knowledge of general aircraft maintenance environment processes (Human Factors, FOD control, tool control, health & safety & COSHH)
    • Proficient computer skills, use of the Microsoft Office suite
    • Must be able to work variable shifts, including 1st and/or 2nd shift.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • May require working in confined spaces and at heights.
    • Ascend and descend vertical work ladders, work in confined spaces, and lift loads of approximately 35 pounds
    • Willingness to work overtime, including weekends, as needed.

    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

    Summary pay range: $39,950 - $54,050.
