    Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Huntsville, Alabama.

    Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including Entry-Level and Associate Procurement Agents.

    We’re looking for skilled professionals who are passionate about precision and innovation to help produce Boeing’s Patriot Advanced Capability-3 (PAC-3) seeker-an integral part of the world’s most advanced air defense system.     Position Responsibilities:

    • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements

    • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements

    • Partnering with Program and Engineering teammates to provide the best sourcing solution for our programs

    • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply

    • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance

    • The candidate must possess strong business acumen, communication and problem solving skills. Proactive engagement with various disciplines and program stakeholders is required

    • Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements

    • Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities

    • Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • Experience with Microsoft Office Products like Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word

    • Experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders

    • Experience working with cross functional teams

    • Experience working both independently and in team environments

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • Level 2 : 1 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or higher

    • Experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management

    • Experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance

    • Experience writing, drafting or editing contract documents

    • Experience leading proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation efforts

    • Experience with proposal management or contract exposure with the US Department of Defense

    • Experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)

    • Experience in performing data analysis

    Work Location:

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    Travel:

    Position may require travel up to 25% of the time.

    Summary Pay Range for Entry-level (Level 1): $51,850 - $64,050

    Summary Pay Range for Associate level (Level 2): $60,350 - $74,550
