Job Description Qualifications:
The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Safety Specialist (Entry Level or Associate) to join the team in Everett, WA.
The Everett Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Team is looking for health and safety professionals to support various teams at the Everett Site. This position is encouraged to apply an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify mitigations to existing and future EHS risks in the production system. As part of the EHS team you will support health and safety initiatives, projects and compliance for the airplane programs.
Position Responsibilities:
Supports the planning, implementation and assessment of occupational health and safety programs and processes
Drafts health and safety programs that provide consistent approaches to risk reduction and compliance
Investigates safety and health incidents and complaints
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience in Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
Experience performing health and safety risk assessments, developing and managing safety programs, and performing audits
Experience collaborating across functions and organizations
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree or higher in a safety related field (Industrial Hygiene, Occupational Safety, Toxicology, Bio-Engineering, Public Health, etc.)
Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals
1+ years of experience managing projects
Typical Education & Experience:
Entry Level (Level 1)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
Associate (Level 2)
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range for Entry Level: $63,750 - $86,250
Summary pay range for Associate: $80,750 - $109,250
