Space Vehicle Controller/Analyst (Entry-Level or Associate)

Boeing is seeking a Space Vehicle Controller/Analyst (Entry-Level or Associate) to join our team in Las Cruces, NM. This person will be responsible for command and control of space vehicles (SV), telemetry monitoring, and execution and verification of products loaded to the SV.
Position Responsibilities:
Ensuring integrity of the ground system and command path in support of the mission. The SVC will use MS-Windows or UNIX based computers for the development of the operational plan and analysis of data collected in support of planning future contacts or anomaly resolution.
The SVC will be responsible for coordination with management and peers to ensure the integrity of high quality operational products, including procedures, tools, detailed event logging, and system configuration.
This position will be required to analyze technical data, verify and sustain specific systems configuration in accordance with defined constraints and operational requirements.
The SVC will monitor system performance and control system elements by executing commands to change the system configuration in order to achieve mission objectives. This position may support future system testing and integration requirements.
Selected candidate will be provided specialized training in order to learn the necessary skills related to ground and SV configuration management allowing them to obtain the necessary certifications required for this position.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
Willing to work rotating shifts which include working days, nights, weekends and/or holidays.
Successful completion of a certification program (post start) Certification requires a combination of self-study and on-the-job (OJT) training.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience ):
Prior experience with coding/scripting with various languages (MATLAB, Pearl, etc.)
Prior experience working with space vehicles
2+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range for associate (level 1): $56,950 - $77,050
Summary pay range for associate (level 2): $68,000 - $92,000
