    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for West Jordan Composite Fabrication Specialists (Entry-level or Associate) to support the Composite Fabrication Team based in West Jordan, Utah.

    Shift preference is granted to teammates based on their seniority. It is important to note that these positions may require a 2nd shift schedule based on the business's needs.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Performs composite lay-up, fabrication and assembly tasks.
    • Composite bagging and forming.
    • Composite drilling and bonding.
    • Tooling preparation.
    • Machine set up and operation.
    • Overhead crane operation.

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite.The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

    This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

    • 3+ months of experience in manufacturing.
    • Ability to work any shift based on the needs of the operation.
    • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
    • Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, kneeling and lifting.

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

    • 1+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Experience with Lean Principles (Continuous Improvement, Standard Work, and 5-S tools).
    • Experience managing or working with safety, quality, and manufacturing performance data.

    Typical Education/Experience:
    Entry-level (level A): Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).

    Associate (level B): Acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

    Relocation:

    Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

    Summary pay range | Entry-Level (Level A): $38,250 - $49,500

    Summary pay range | Associate (Level B): $46,750 - $60,000
