    Job Description Qualifications:

    Boeing Global Services is seeking a Wheel and Brake Technician (Entry Level or Experienced) to join their team in Van Nuys, CA .

    Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Entry Level or Experienced Wheel and Brake Technicians.

    Position Responsibilities:

    • Performs simple production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations

    • Assemble and test hydraulic and hose assemblies in accordance with all relevant and applicable technical data and publications

    • Follow all policies and procedures, and all safety rules and regulations

    • Perform other duties as assigned

    This position is expected to be 100% onsite.The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Van Nuys, CA.

    This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience) :

    • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

    • Ability to work in a team environment (and interact effectively with team members from non technical disciplines)

    • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 35 pounds frequently within an 8 hour shift

    • Ability to stand and move (reach, bend, or stoop) to handle products for extended periods of time with only short breaks

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience) :

    • 1 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent

    • Experience with SAP

    • Mechanical and/or hydraulic experience

    • Ability to read and understand complex technical publication and diagrams/blueprints

    • Lean production/Six Sigma knowledge or experience

    • Troubleshooting experience

    Typical Education/Experience :

    Entry Level (Level A):

    Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. high school diploma/GED).

    Experienced (Level B):

    Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate).

    Relocation:

    Relocation assistance is not a negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

    Summary pay range for Entry Level: $48,800 - $55,200
