You will excel as our Sales Tax Analyst if you are detail-oriented and thrive on doing business the way it should be done. As this crucial member of our team, you will provide incredible value to both our customers and internal accounting team through ensuring accuracy of all tax transactions.

How you'll make an impact:

As our Sales Tax Analyst, you will primarily make an impact through:

Verifying returns for accuracy and maintaining an accurate budget for tax expenses. Compiling information to complete the sales and use tax returns monthly. Compiling and preparation of information to complete tax returns. Investigating and reconciling tax issues and categories Researching state and local requirements to ensure compliance with taxability. Ensure vendor tax compliance with the requirements of each state. Ensuring prompt payment of the taxes and reconciling tax accounts accurately Filing appropriate tax returns timely and accurately Understanding and communicating accurate information with stakeholders Participating in the annual Audit

What you'll need:

Associate's Degree (business, finance, tax, accounting preferred) with 1-2 years relevant experience Proficient in MS/G-Suite, especially Excel/Sheets. A proven team-player Impeccable attention to detail. Knowledge of tax law and regulations, with a desire to become an expert.
