  • Responsibilities

    The Allocation Analyst is the entry level into the Allocation Team. The analyst manages the inventory levels across the store base for one or more departments. It is their responsibility with the guidance of Allocation leadership to ensure proper execution of the Brand’s merchandising strategies. Allocation Analyst reports to a Planner or Divisional Manager.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Ensure that in-season product/store inventory levels reflect the Merchandising strategies and are allocated properly to meet or exceed sales, gross margin, and inventory goals
    • Develop department/class/style level allocation strategies for in-season execution
    • Own initial inventory releases
    • Support Allocation Planners and Associate Planners
    • Track receipts to support in-season allocation strategies
    • Manage inventory to support regional opportunities
    • Partner with team leaders to perform in-season and post-season analysis to identify future opportunities
    • Provide ad hoc analysis
    • Build relationships with DC business partners and product cross-functional team
    • Manage Basic inventory levels to support in stock levels, as necessary by department

    Skills Required:

    • Keep pace with a fast moving and constantly changing work environment
    • Have an aptitude to learn technical applications quickly
    • Understands basic retail math
    • Capable to solve problems with effective solutions
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Particularly Excel)
    • Able to build effective relationships with all business partners
    • Possess strong organizational and time management skills
    • Demonstrate proficient listening, written and oral communication skills

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • 1 years of work experience, retail field experience is preferred
    • Available to work some Saturdays
