  • Responsibilities

    Sample Tracking

    • Assist in entering and logging all Sample Developments
    • Maintain accurate records that are critical to the development process
    • Create tags for all new development samples

    Design/Product Development

    • Photograph all new development samples
    • Assist in creating mood and style development boards
    • Research trends and colors to assist design team
    • Assist in beading and hand sewing samples when needed
    • Help team to prepare for meetings with vendors and buyers

    Fabric R+D

    • Assist in ordering, tracking and organizing development fabrics
    • Source trims and fabrics in the local market
    • Learn to communicate with fabric vendors to maintain accurate information
    • Swatch and create hangers for Design & Product Development Team

    Administrative

    • Assist in logging standards, samples, and fabrics
    • Help to maintain a clean and organized office space

    JYC is currently looking for highly talented and motivated Design/Product Development Interns for the 2016 Spring Semester. The ideal candidate must possess high attention to details, be extremely organized and able to takes initiative while working under pressure/urgency. This is a perfect opportunity and incredible learning experience for those who are interested in the Fashion Industry.

  • Qualifications

    Fashion Merchandising Management(FMM), Production, Fashion Business Management(FBM) with any academic level

    Well-versed in Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel, Background in fashion
