Our team is seeking a passionate, self-motivated Graphic Design intern to join our rapidly growing team.

The position will report directly into our Creative Director assisting with the creation and implementation of both digital and printed assets for: retail and event marketing, the Balsa e-commerce site, social media platforms, e-mail programs, etc.

Although we are seeking immediate help, there is the opportunity for this position to continue throughout the summer or turn into a full-time role for recent graduates.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

• Be a part of a start-up Fashion design studio
• Collaborate with the design team in creating work for our social media platforms
• Assist in creation of collateral for print, web and photoshoots
• Learn numerous aspects of photoshoot artistic direction and work with well recognized photographers
• End result is a well-rounded experience of an in-house creative studio.

**This internship could qualify for internship class credit

• Major in Graphic Design or related field
• Must be competent in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop CC)
• Strong typographic sense is a must
• Familiar with design standards for print vs. web
• Interest in social media photography and trends
• Web design, video motion graphics knowledge is a plus
• Must enjoy / thrive in a fast-paced environment: experience is important, but passion and initiative is key
• High level of organizational skills, detail oriented
• Self-motivated, take initiative with complicated tasks
