Conscious Step is a sustainable lifestyle brand on a mission to help consumers make meaningful change towards the causes they care about. We work with 17+ different nonprofit partners to help raise funds and awareness for their work. We are looking for a graphic design intern who is passionate about fashion and sustainability.

Conscious Step is looking for a Graphic Design Intern to join our team for the summer. This person will work directly with our creative team to create visually engaging content for all channels to drive traffic and sales. The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for design. You should be able to dedicate about 20 hours a week in EST.

Location: Brooklyn, New York (remote or hybrid available)

Type: Internship

Time: May through August

Pay: $20/hr

What you’ll do:

• Design email campaigns using brand guidelines
• Edit images for website and social media
• Create engaging content for social media platforms
• Help coordinate photoshoots, organize and maintain brand photography
• Print project support

Who you are:

• Currently enrolled in a Graphic Design and Digital Media Program or a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Digital Media
• Design portfolio required
• Highly organized & motivated
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign
• Eye for creating visually engaging social content
• Strong written & verbal communication skills
