Paid Search Marketing (SEM) Analyst Internship (Hybrid or Remote)

As an intern, you will work directly with the Digital Marketing Managers. You will have a hands-on experience opportunity in managing paid search campaigns on Google Ads. You will work alongside your team on a variety of projects spanning across digital media. Your experience as an intern at Lands' End is both educational and fun, while keeping you connected with your mentor, manager and fellow interns. You will gain exposure to company leaders through roundtables, your final project showcase and other company functions. We are seeking someone who is interested in continuously learning about Big Data Cloud technologies, digital measurement, ad platforms and marketing technology in a field that is constantly changing.

The Paid Search Analyst is responsible for the management and performance optimization of the Lands' End SEM program, which includes paid search campaigns, shopping campaigns and shopping feed management. Candidate will be fully accountable for campaign performance and reporting and must be able to effectively plan, implement and communicate recommendations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage, report, and optimize search marketing activity based on digital performance metrics
Manage ad spend on Search Marketing, Display Marketing, Product Listing Ads/Shopping, and Paid Social Marketing
Develop and maintain reporting on all levels of data from keyword to campaign for ROI and KPI metrics
Responsible for all facets of day-to-day management including keyword research/build-outs, ad copy writing and testing, bid management, landing page selection/optimization
Perform thorough data driven analysis using analytics and online marketing tools
Conduct regular check-ins on performance & making optimization suggestions to drive efficiency, improve ROAS and meet weekly/monthly revenue goals
Evaluating large pools of data; identifying trends and applying new insights to campaigns
Conduct documentation of operating procedures
Conduct periodic competitive audits and analysis
Participate in summer project with fellow interns that will be presented to leadership
QUALIFICATIONS
Progress towards a Bachelor's degree in Digital Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, Business, Economics, Finance, Accounting, Analytics or related field preferred
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong writing skills, highly organized, detail-focused, and critical thinking
Ability to multi-task, work with a team, deadline driven, desire to work in a fast-paced environment while handling multiple projects
FOLLOWING SKILLS & EXPERIENCE ARE A PLUS
Hands on experience with Paid Search, Paid Social, ideally outside of the classroom (e.g. personal projects, internships, and co-ops)
Basic knowledge of digital media measurement and multi-channel attribution
