    Job Description

    JOB SUMMARY: The Sales Manager’s primary responsibility is to generate revenue for the company via the sale of seismic data licenses while maintaining the value of multi-client assets.  Additionally, the Sales Manager will actively identify new Multi-Client and New Ventures (MCNV) sales opportunities from an assigned list of clients KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Applies strong negotiating skills, consultative selling techniques and effective customer account management to sell seismic data licenses within an assigned list of clients
    • Develops and maintains relationships with clients; maintains intimate knowledge of customers’ seismic needs and priorities; and oversees customer satisfaction
    • Identifies new opportunities for multi-client seismic programs within the region
    • Contributes to contract negotiations, pricing and the delivery of multi-client data license sales (all stages of the sales life cycle)
    • Works with other sales and marketing personnel to undertake varying tasks that will increase awareness and reputation of the Company
    • Updates and maintains client contact databases and organization charts, as required
    • Attends marketing events and trade shows that are E&P focused throughout the region.
    • Assists and performs client entertainment events to maximize client network relationships
  • Qualifications

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Minimum 8 to 10 years sales experience in multi-client seismic licensing
    • Bachelor’s degree in earth sciences (or other technical degree) required; Master’s degree preferred
    • Leverages an existing, robust network of client contacts within oil & gas companies actively working deep water Gulf of Mexico
    • Demonstrates an excellent knowledge of sales including, but not limited to:  qualifying opportunities; navigating and understanding the sales cycle; and applying consultative selling techniques
    • Experienced in developing and negotiating large, complex seismic licensing transactions
    • Highly proficient at entertaining customers in a variety of social settings while maintaining a high degree of professionalism as a Company representative
    • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
