We have a summer 2019 internship opportunity in our Indianapolis, IN Transportation Department. The internship will provide an opportunity to work with engineers on the planning and design of transportation projects throughout the state of Indiana. Position Requirements * Jr. or Sr. level student in Civil Engineering; 3.0 cumulative GPA is required. * Must have an interest in the field of transportation engineering. * Ability to compute quantities and verify measurements and layouts under the direction of an engineer. * Good organizational skills with strong attention to detail; able to work independently and as part of a team. * Previous experience using Microstation, AutoCad or ArcGIS is desired. * Proficient with MS Office for compiling and presenting project data and writing reports. * Valid driver?s license is required.
