CME Associates, a multi-discipline engineering firm is seeking interns to work with our collaborative, creative teams beginning in May 2018 and continuing throughout the summer. CME is looking for students in the various fields of engineering and natural resources who are interested in gaining practical field and office experience for our internship program! CME's internship program seeks to align a student's interests with our future hiring needs so that each student has a unique and valuable experience while they are learning with us. If you are an energetic individual who wants to get hands on experience and explore potential career opportunities after graduation please consider applying to our Internship Program. Each chosen student will be paired with a technical mentor and will get exposed to a variety of project, field, and office work so they build a solid and diverse foundation of technical skills to start their career. We're offering a flexible schedule, training, guidance and support, as well as the opportunity to experience the industry from the inside and gain valuable work experience. Experience/Qualifications: Pursuing B.S. in related field GPA 3.0 or above Effective communication skills both written & oral Good organizational skills Computer skills (Microsoft Office, AutoCAD and/or Microstation desired) Responsibilities (will vary depending on what group you support, but here are some examples): Provide assistance and general support to engineering and/or natural resources teams. Perform site visits to verify and document conditions Compile construction documents and other tasks in a design team Assist in estimating quantities for contract items Prepare draft of standard documents and correspondence The candidate will be required to uphold Governmental and Corporate Quality Assurance Policies/Procedures.
