SUMMARY: Perform general maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical system machines, heating systems, plumbing, and etc. Assist Millwright of higher classification. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Receives work assignment from Focused Factory Manager, or Leadman. Performs work assigned to rig, move, install machines and equipment. Secure, level and align machines properly. Assist in machine repair or overhauls. Do simple structural work, concrete work, rough carpentry, plumbing, and etc., incidental to assignments. Work from plans or layouts. Maintains a clean and orderly work area and perform all assignments in a safe manner. Repair and maintain building, machinery and any other equipment as required. Inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust, and maintain all air lines, air compressors, heat, mechanical and electrical equipment in factory or offices. Phones, computer wiring, air conditioning. Install and move machine tools. Perform weekly and monthly fire inspections,\inspection forms Instruct others and assist in maintenance function of the physical plant; masonry work, carpenter work, painting electrical, mechanical, and etc. Judgement required to plan work. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. QUALIFICATIONS: Machine tools, hand tools, rigging equipment, dollies, skids, torch, chain fall, jacks, rope, paint, shovel, saws, welders, measuring tools and equipment and etc. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply concepts of basic math, algebra and geometry. REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
