Position: Service Technician Apprentice, Full Time Regular position FLSA Status: Hourly, Non-Exempt Location: Las Vegas, NV Essential Duties and Responsibilities: -Perform basic refrigeration maintenance including but not limited to de-icing coolers, changing air filters, and unclogging drains. -Perform additional duties as required and assigned by senior technician or supervisor -Train with a senior level service technician in refrigeration maintenance and repairs -Willingness and ability to travel, work overtime, holidays, nights and weekends as required by varying jobs. -Adhere to Hillphoenix safety program, policies, and procedures. -Communicate effectively with team members, project managers, journeymen, supervisors, and managers. Education and Experience Required: -Basic mechanical background preferred. -Certificate of completion Refrigeration / AC trade school. -Universal or minimum Type I and ll EPA certification card. Other Requirements: -Valid State Drivers License -Drug Screen Clearance -Background Screen -Desire to learn and grow with the business. -Self-motivated, sense of urgency, and initiative. Physical Demands: -Moving objects up to 50 pounds may be required. -Basic refrigeration tool set: tool bag, meter, gages, wrenches, socket set, nut drivers, screw drivers. -Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, reach, and occasionally lift and carry up to 80 pounds. -Ability to work on ladders, roofs, and in rare cases, high, precarious places.
