The position requires strong attention to detailed and good organizational skills. The position will be in our Burlingame, CA office along Bayshore Highway. The position is anticipated to be 15-20 hours per week with flexible working hours, but must be able to work on Mondays and Wednesdays at least half day. In this position you will: * Conference logistics to include hotel reservations, registering attendees, packaging/shipping conference materials, etc.? * Ordering apparel as instructed * Assisting with event planning * Assisting with corporate newsletter and social media communications * Under close supervision and following specific instructions, performs basic proposal and writing duties in support of the proposal department * May enter data into proposal project description database system * May be assigned miscellaneous administrative tasks including but not limited to processing invoices, ordering supplies, prepare shipping labels, organizing proposal supplies, shredding of old proposals, printing, and assisting in proposal production. * May be assigned to complete special projects * In addition to the accountabilities above, other responsibilities, tasks, and deliverables may be assigned to the incumbent of this position Basic Qualifications · Ability to communicate in written and verbal formats · Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and all it's tools and functions · Strong attention to detail · Good organizational skills · Education: This position requires a high school diploma and must be currently enrolled as a second, third, or fourth year student in an accredited university working towards a Bachelorâ??s degree in Marketing, hospitality, Communications, Public Relations or closely related discipline. Preferred Qualifications · Experience with setting up travel (airline tickets, hotels, etc.) for groups · Leadership experience within a group (setting group up, newsletter, etc.) · Knowledgeable of word and basic excel functions · Interested in data analysis and problem solving · Energetic and enthusiastic about learning
