Learn about ENGEOs workplace here. http://reviews.greatplacetowork.com/engeo-incorporated Responsibilities of our new AutoCAD Civil 3D team member will include, but are not limited to: * Managing production of drawings including the drafting, editing, and finalizing of plans and details using appropriate and efficient methods and adhering to ENGEO drafting standards. * Understanding and visualizing overall civil/geotechnical engineering concepts, such as grading, and translating abstract concepts to design drawings. * Working collaboratively with other CAD technicians to prepare design drawings and details and reviewing completed work products to ensure quality. Experience and Skills: REQUIREMENTS: Preferred candidates will have a minimum of Associate's degree and 2-5+ years of full-time experience performing CAD / Civil 3D design work with a civil engineering firm; or equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the prerequisite knowledge, skills, and abilities, including those described below. * Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD Civil 3D (release 2017 or above) * Experience in Geotechnical and Environmental fields as well as ArcGIS a plus but not required. * Experience developing and working with grading plans, cross-sections, profiles, three-dimensional surfaces, and earthwork volumes. * Experience using/incorporating land or aerial surveying/mapping data and files. * Ability to work individually as well as in groups. * Understanding of Microsoft Office applications, including Windows, Outlook, Word, and Excel. * Experience with ArcGIS a plus * Experience with MicroStation a plus CANDIDATE ATTRIBUTES: ENGEO strives to hire and retain the best and brightest candidates. This position requires strong communication and service skills, including the ability to assess, organize and share the workload with a small Drafting/Graphics team supporting all ENGEO offices. Responsibilities include interfacing with principals, project managers and other staff preparing construction plans for grading, SWPPPs, creek restoration, erosion control, and technical engineering diagrams including geologic maps, cross sections, trench logs and grading plans. Must be self-motivated, extremely reliable, willing take initiative, a natural multi-tasker, have great organizational skills and be very detail oriented.
