Compliance Officer for US/ Canada and Latin & South America Countries Essity 14 reviews - Philadelphia, PA : The Essity is currently searching for a Compliance Officer for US/ Canada and Latin & South America Countries. This position will be based out of our headquarters in Philadelphia, PA or in Charlotte NC. The Compliance Officer is responsible for implementing and driving the Essity Compliance program independently in our entities in US/Canada and in Latin & South America. Furthermore, she or he will support the VP for Compliance & Ethics with overarching topics. The Compliance Officer report to the VP for Compliance & Ethics. Roles and Responsibilities: * Monitor and report results of the compliance program as well as to implement all necessary requirements to ensure compliance with the local, state and federal law and regulations of regulatory agencies/authorities especially in the health care sector * Support and advice management on Compliance-related matters; * Support and create internal compliance communication, such as Essity Group intranet site and local newsletters and tailor compliance trainings * Identify potential areas of compliance vulnerability and risk; Develop and implement corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, and provide guidance on how to avoid or remedy similar situations in the future; Personal Profile: * Ability and willingness to be part of an international and diverse team; * Demonstrated ability to manage senior leadership in dynamic environments; * Excellent intercultural interest and sensitivity * Excellent communication, presentation and training skills; Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelors Degree in Business or a similar related field. * Minimum three years of working experience as a compliance officer in a global enterprise, preferable medical device or pharmaceutical enterprise. * Ability to read and write English and Spanish; fluently. * Proficient in Microsoft: Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook and MS Project. * Willingness to travel up to 40% international and domestically.
