Job Description: We are currently seeking aCAD Technicianto join our team of professionals in ourDallas, TXoffice. This position will be responsible for producing construction drawings to support a team of interior designers. This position will report to the Architectural Interior Designer. Qualifications Job Responsibilities: -Provide support to Interior Design team by producing precise construction drawings -Work closely with a variety of design teams across multiple offices to ensure design intent is met -Construction documentation and detailing -Daily coordination with architects and consultants -Drawing red-line changes for construction documents throughout the project cycle -Research applicable codes and ordinances for assigned projects -Assist with construction administration duties such as requests for information and submittals -Occasional site visits to check on progress and accuracy related to the scope of work contracted -Occasional site visits for due-diligence documentation of as-built conditions Qualifications: -Bachelors Degree in Architecture or Engineering -3+ years of experience working in Architecture and/or Interior Design Firm -3+ years of experience in AutoCAD software -Strong written and verbal skills -Strong organization, planning and prioritization skills -Strong understanding of interior architecture -Ability to work successfully independently as well as in a team environment -License desired Preferred Qualifications: -Revit and SketchUp experience is desirable -Experience specializing in Hospitality and/or Multifamily projects is desirable -Construction experience is a plus -License desired *For consideration, please submit your portfolio and/or work samples in PDF format!
