This job is a great opportunity to enhance your portfolio and gain real-world marketing experience. Responsibilities: This position is responsible for assisting with marketing communications strategies. Tasks may include: * Assist with identifying, designing, writing, editing and/or coordinating: proposals, qualifications, client presentations. * Assist with web site content, brochures, project profiles, advertisement, social media content, newsletter articles, email campaigns, internal communications.

    • Perform research into potential clients, collaborators and competitors. * Administrative tasks including organizing/updating materials, tracking on-going pursuits, and maintaining Deltek Vision database and organizing existing and new data base filing systems. * Occasionally help coordinate or supervise after-hour events and special projects, career fairs, and trade conferences. Qualifications Position Requirements: * Current enrollment in a college degree program related to journalism, public relations, advertising or marketing or recent graduate. * Computer skills: proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, social media, Microsoft Office Suite. Deltek Vision ERP software experience a plus. * Preferred candidate will have a solid understanding of the following: print and digital design, copy writing and proofing, graphic design and layout, and marketing communication practices. * Knowledge of or experience in the AEC or professional services industry necessary. * Skills: * Works well independently and in team settings with a positive attitude * Creative and innovative approach to communications and branding * Strong initiative and drive * Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail * Ability to multi-task
    • Intllectual curiosity, a collaborative spirit, and a proactive attitude * Communication skills: Excellent communication skills both oral and written. Excellent interpersonal and business communication skills. Ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships and enhance cross-functional collaboration with team members. Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy and professional appearance. * Must be able to satisfactorily pass a driving history check and drug/alcohol screen. Additional Information Approximate dates: August 15th to December 15th. This is a paid position that will be structured 32-40 hours per week.
