Job Description

Kett Engineering is seeking a Project Coordinator to organize the sourcing and deployment of scientific and industrial prototyping equipment within our customer's facility in San Jose, CA. 

While the equipment is battery related, the skill set required needn’t be.  This person would coordinate between equipment suppliers, the facility team, city permitting authorities etc. to manage the entire life cycle of equipment deployment from sourcing to on-site commissioning and in some cases de-commissioning

Basic Functions of the Program Coordinator position:

• Vendor management (issues list, meeting notes, task prioritization) 
• Align schedules from multiple vendors and internal teams into a comprehensive project schedule.
• Management of internal issues lists using Jira
• Manage project budgets/expenses, small equipment purchases, invoice approvals

Qualifications

• Experience with manufacturing environment
  • Scheduling workers work/shifts
  • Managing product inventory levels and build orders
  • Organizing shipping and receiving of parts from vendors and to/from test partners
  • Work with machine vendors to organize maintenance and calibration efforts

   

• Experience with manufacturing equipment installation and bring up is a plus, including management of facilities vendors
• Proficient with MSProject and Jira.
• Ability to travel (COVID Permitting) about 15% of the time.
• Mechanical/electrical/industrial engineer with manufacturing equipment experience is preferred
