recognitions. Langan is seeking a Human Resources Intern in our
corporate headquarters in Parsippany, NJ. As the successful candidate,
you are pursuing a degree in Psychology, Business, Human Resources
Management, or a related field. You have a passion for people and Talent
Management. You will support the Human Resources department through
daily tasks and special projects. Job Responsibilities: + Assist with
orientation and onboarding of new hires including reviewing survey
information and distributing new hire orientation materials; + Create
and maintain confidential personnel files; + Monitor the new hire
announcement process and send reminders to Human Resource Managers; +
Act as backup to the HR Coordinator, Recruiting Coordinators, and
Benefits Coordinator; + Assist the Talent Acquisition Team with the
Intern/Co-op Program and other recruiting responsibilities; + Submit and
track department expenses; + Assist with the maintenance of the HR
Sharepoint site; + Collaborate with branch offices as needed; + Maintain
HR file room and filing systems; ensure files are up-to-date and the
file room is current and organized, including converting paper files to
electronic files; and, + Provide general clerical duties including
filing, typing, scanning, photocopying, faxing, reviewing, and composing
mail, and ordering supplies. Job Requirements: + Student actively
pursuing a four year or advanced degree in Psychology, Human Resources
Management, Business, or a related field; + Experience in an office
environment required; + Excellent communication skills, written and
verbal; + Strong attention to detail; + Ability to multi-task and work
on several projects simultaneously; + Superior interpersonal skills and
positive demeanor; + Sound judgment and discretion with confidential
information; + Ability to work independently, remain flexible, and
handle multiple priorities in a fast paced environment; and, +
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Please submit your
