Civil Drafting Intern Job ID 2018-1316 Job Locations US-CO-Denver Category Civil Type Intern Overview Intern - Civil Drafting Introduction Merrick & Company is seeking Civil Drafting student for a paid internship for Fall 2018 for our Denver, CO office. Part time work schedule will be considered. During standard business hours (8am 5pm MT), the interns hours per week can be flexible to accommodate classes. Job Description The internship will provide a currently enrolled Associates degree student the opportunity to gain technical experience in the field of civil drafting. The intern will be exposed civil drafting including storm drainage, site, roadway and utility design. The position requires the collaboration with other drafters/designers, follow directions and schedules, work independently, possess good written and oral communication skills and the ability to problem solve. Required Experience Entry level knowledge of Civil 3D, MS Office and Windows Must be currently enrolled in a certified Associates degree program in CAD Drafting Must have a good attendance record Must have a current instructor recommendation or reference Local candidates only Students who have recently graduated will not be considered. Physical Requirements The job requires the ability to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation.
