    Job details - Auto req ID - 18585BR - Title - Production Planner II - Job Family - Manufacturing/Production - Location - Neenah, WI - Job Description - Plexus for looking for a talented Production Planner to join our manufacturing team! This person will be responsible for coordinating and planning activities related to the production and materials release schedule and forecast. Most activities are focused on daily production planning, material release planning and expedition. Responsible for scheduling the product flow throughout the manufacturing process and ensure timely completion of manufacturing orders by ensuring availability of resources. Key Job Accountabilities: - Meet with the Focus Factory Manager & Program Manager to understand the priorities related to the demand forecast. - Establish & review the production schedule to ensure customer commitments are met. - Understand overall capacity loading requirements and needs of Focus Factory. - Monitor production schedule performance to ensure the demand forecast is on track. - Monitor the amount of material released to the Focus Factory to prevent excess inventory.Additional Accountabilities and Job Functions:

    • Monitor the status of material usage variances to ensure discrepancies are understood & communicated to the Focus Factory Manager. - Assist in the coordination of Material Handler activities to ensure inventory needs are communicated. - Assess part availability to ensure correct quantities are available for production. - Coordinate with demand analyst equivocal to meet the material release schedule. - Expedite material releases & production schedules to communicate the changing needs of the Focus Factory. - Resolve Focus Factory conflicts to prevent late shipments. - Push to closeout old WOs. - Communicate part availability concerns with Procurement and Customer Management to effectively resolve issues. - Minimal travel may be required to meet the needs of the business (<10%). - Additional duties as assigned by management.Education/Experience: - A minimum of a High School diploma or equivalent or equivalent experience is required for this position; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Business, Accounting or related field is preferred. - Experience of 1 year is required for this position, assuming education requirements are met. Equivalent industry experience of 3 or more years is highly desirable. - Employee will be required to successfully complete all internal training courses by the company necessary to do the job. Skills/Abilities: - Employee must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Employee must possess good written and oral communication, organizational and troubleshooting skills. - The ability to take a proactive approach, and take ownership for all activities related to the success of the Focus Factory in order to ensure successful operations. - Employee must work safely at all times and maintain confidentiality of all company and customer information.
