Department Marketing Statement Are you a CAD Detailer looking for a dynamic company to join? We have immediate openings for CAD Detailers who will work with mathematical concepts, such as probability & statistical inference, fundamentals of plane & solid geometry, fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. These positions are located at our Livonia and Allen Park, MI facilities. Responsibilities * Application of CAD skills necessary to complete assignment requirements * Verification of component details necessary to meet customers objectives, clearances, manufacturing requirements, and functionality * Support department design reviews * Communicate job status to senior team members of the design, engineering, and management teams on a daily basis * Assist the design department in other capacities such as in designing and checking * Support department quality systems and follow any procedures or work instructions provided for assigned projects Qualifications * Associates degree from a two-year college or technical school pertaining to mechanical designer/engineering, two years of product design and detail experience with a strong automotive background, or equivalent combination of education and experience * Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers * Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists * Demonstrated geometric dimensioning and tolerancing capability
