Site Support Intern Job -Date:May 8, 2018 Location:Oak Ridge, TN, US Site Support Intern (Job Number:436509) Description: SAIC has Site Support summer college internship opportunities to support our Information Technology Operations (ITO) group in Oak Ridge, TN. Job Description: Provides technical support on assignments utilizing established procedures and guidance provided by the assigned technical mentor. Candidates will have the opportunity to explore all aspects of an IT organization from technical to support functions. Understand that this short description is not intended to be a detailed nor comprehensive description of duties assigned. Mentors will set the specific duties and responsibilities for the day-to-day activities, however, the focus will be supporting daily system refresh activities and asset management. The primary responsibilities will be to work with ITO EUO site support to implement PC swaps, imaging systems for deployment, setup and configuration, software installation, asset inventory control and disposal. This is an entry level position where the intern will be able to apply basic fundamentals, concepts and procedures to expand their classroom knowledge to workforce level experience. Qualifications: Qualifications: - Must be pursuing a Bachelors degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, and Computer Engineering, Cyber Security or related IT discipline. - Must have familiarity with Desktop PC OS Installation (Windows 10) - Must hold a GPA of 3.0 or higher. - U.S. Citizenship required.
