DESCRIPTION

SAIC is seeking a Cost Analyst to support our FAA customer. The successful candidate should possess the following attributes:

• Prior experience developing/maintaining cost models and conducting cost-benefit analysis for FAA programs. This includes aligning cost models with program schedules/milestones.
• Familiarity with cost modeling tools, applications, and processes used by the FAA
• Detailed-oriented mindset and proficiency in researching and analyzing information.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and as a part of a team.
• Ability to independently establish and manage priorities for fulfilling work assigned.

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting the customer organization in performing acquisition planning and management activities
• Developing/maintaining AMS lifecycle (20 year) cost estimate to acquire the system and all support personnel to deploy the system and estimate of risk-adjusted benefits to be realized by the FAA and external stakeholders.
• Coordinate and work with the FAA’s independent assessment team to ensure timely delivery of Business Case data for the decision-making process.
• Participate in program meetings to update the team on the progress of on-going work.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree and at least 15 years of experience
• Prior experience developing and maintaining AMS compliant business cases, including cost estimates and cost/benefit analyses within the last 5 years
• Prior experience working with the FAA Investment Planning & Analysis Group and knowledge of Capital Investment process are a plus
• Familiarity with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to satisfy FAA resume and security requirements

US Citizenship required with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance

Target salary range: $125,001 - $150,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
