Entry-Level Transportation Engineer Department: Boston, MA Location: Boston, MA VHBs growing Massachusetts transportation team is seeking an entry-level Transportation Engineer to join our Boston project-based team. We are working on one of the most transformative transportation projects in Boston to improve mobility throughout the city for decades to come. VHBs passionate professionals include engineers, scientists, planners, and designers who partner with public and private clients in the transportation, real estate, institutional, and energy industries, as well as federal, state, and local governments. Together, we work to improve mobility, enhance communities and economic vitality, and balance development and infrastructure needs with environmental stewardship. Responsibilities Work within a team of professionals in developing transportation planning and engineering solutions for a multitude of transportation (roadway and transit) projects Transportation feasibility studies Transportation planning analyses Conduct on-site investigations to support planning and design activities Prepare written planning documents, summarize information, and present conclusions and recommendations Roadway, work zone traffic, and intersection design Skills and Abilities Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Self-motivated Attention to detail Ability to think critically Strong computer skills Excel in working in a team environment Qualifications BS in Civil Engineering or related field 0-3 years of civil/transportation engineering/planning experience Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D a plus Advanced knowledge MS Excel a plus Please submit applications online.
