  • Responsibilities

    The Stellantis design staff and management team acknowledge the contributions of Digital Modeling Specialists for their advanced technical knowledge, digital modeling expertise, and presentation skills. In this role, the Digital Modeling Specialist is responsible for leading the support of Class A surface development for full vehicles, as well as interior and exterior components. This position recognizes top talent within the Stellantis Digital Modeling team, who are considered critical assets to the organization and play a key role in completing challenging projects and assignments.

    Role Responsibilities include but not limited to:

    • Quickly capture design intent not only from sketch, scan, and verbal input, but also by having the unique ability to propose their concise solutions using their inherent and natural design sense
    • Creates new methods, procedures, and approaches to follow the surface development meeting program timeline and deliverables
    • Serves as a consultant to internal design managers on complex digital data development issues that may arise
    • Ability to prepare and deliver a presentation of digital data to senior management
    • Act as the mentor and the main contributor to any digital modeling assignment from a Class A surface standpoint

    Requirements

    Basic Qualifications:

    • Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
    • Extremely elevated aesthetic sense and aptitude for sketch interpretation
    • Excellent communication skills and organizational skills, and confident and persuasive in presenting to senior management and cross-functional teams
    • Ability to manage multiple assignments
    • Has exhibited an elevated ability to multitask and problem-solve under pressure successfully
    • Have exhibited the ability to resolve complex digital modeling tasks and have a natural ability to read 2D sketches and develop data that is at the highest level in the industry
    • Full understanding and expertise in Catia 3DX and/or Autodesk tools, Alias, and Vred
    • Other valuable software understanding: Unreal, Blender and VR tools
