As this crucial member of our Accounting team, the Sales Tax Administrator will provide incredible value to the company by ensuring the accuracy of all tax transactions. HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:

Turn 14 Distribution is requiring all new employees to be vaccinated against Covid-19. Turn 14 Distribution will consider applicants who cannot receive the vaccine for medical or religious-based reasons. If hired, candidates will be required to submit proof of vaccination (first dose is acceptable) by the first day of employment. As our Sales Tax Administrator, you will primarily make an impact through:

• Filing monthly sales, use and excise tax returns on time and with accuracy.
• Posting tax accrual Journal Entries
• Investigating and reconciling tax issues and discrepancies
• Researching state and local requirements to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Serving as sales tax expert on staff to guide customers through sales tax nexus questions
• Understanding and communicating accurate information with stakeholders
• Serving as internal auditor for the Accounting department
• Participating in the annual Audit
• Performing other shared general accounting tasks including general administrative payables, expense reports, budgeting and account reconciliations.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• Associate's Degree (business, finance, tax, accounting preferred) with 1-2 years relevant experience
• Proficient in MS/G-Suite, especially Excel/Sheets.
• A proven team-player
• Impeccable attention to detail.
• Knowledge of tax law and regulations, with a desire to become an expert.
