What are we looking for?

    • A record of team, project and/or people leadership in a work setting and/or extracurricular activities

    • The ability to thrive in fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment

    • Willingness to take initiative to understand the business

    • An aptitude for problem solving; strong writing and verbal communication skills

    • Previous successful experience as an active member of a team

    • A commitment to excellence and to personal and professional growth

    What will be the major activities and key challenges? The FP&A Intern will be involved with or exposed to the following functions:

    • Information sessions with the Senior Leadership team

    • Professional development opportunities, including on the job, in person and virtual training

    • Value-added assignments

    • Exposure to working in a Corporate Environment

    • Plant tours and potential opportunities to visit other locations

    While an internship with Howmet provides you with invaluable experience that you could utilize in any role, our goal is to evaluate interns for potential entry-level openings. With locations across the US, there are opportunities to work throughout the country.

  • Qualifications

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree program in Business or Finance with an expected graduation date in 2023 or Spring 2024

    • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

    • Involved with at least 1 extracurricular activity

    • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Previous business internship preferred

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products

    • Demonstrated leadership skills gained through prior internship or work experience
