This off-shift position will be in our Howmet Research and Development facility. The key responsibilities will be to support the following Chemistry Lab functions:

• Preparation of chemistry samples.
• Perform chemistry testing on alloy samples
• Other duties as assigned.

Periodic overtime and occasional weekend coverage will be required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of consistent work history, post high school.
• Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1 years of lab experience in a manufacturing or laboratory environment.
• Chemistry lab experience.
• Associate degree preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work in a self-directed or team environment.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Must have a desire to learn and collaborate in a manufacturing environment.
