    Howmet Fastening Systems (HFS) is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to assist in the development and refining of the manufacturing process for a high precision product line. The position is located at the HFS aerospace manufacturing plant in Tucson AZ.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Maintain material specifications, product drawings, routing sheets and manufacturing procedures of the assigned product
    • Ensure continuous improvement of tooling and manufacturing methods
    • Assist in reduction of set-up time
    • Partner with production technicians or other departments to enhance manufacturing processes, troubleshoot issues and provide technical guidance
    • Assist in determination of root cause of problems
    • Support ISO9000/D1-9000 implementation
    • Help to ensure that quality and standards for the department are adhered to and maintained
    • Assume other special activities and responsibilities from time to time as required
    • Adhere to Howmet EH&S, Quality, Continuous Improvement and other company policies
  • Qualifications

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS Basic Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Institution Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
