  • Responsibilities

    This position manages, plans, and coordinates the quality assurance and quality control functions within established standards to ensure the prevention and/or elimination of defects in new or existing products or processes by performing the following responsibilities.

    KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES (INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO):

    • Responsible for all aspects of the QMS and compliance to customer, industry, and regulatory requirements, including ISO/AS/NADCAP.
    • Provide guidance to ensure successful achievement of third-party quality certifications (ISO/AS/NADCAP)
    • Administers local audit program, including internal and supplier audits by scheduling and/or performing these audits.
    • Manages the development and analysis of statistical data and specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy
    • Reviews all data obtained during all quality assurance activities to ensure consistency with company policies and procedures.
    • Ability to problem solve quality related issues and provide decision making methods to tackle complex product/process quality issues.
    • Responsible for documenting non-conforming materials and working with the team to resolve reported customer quality issues.
    • Provides leadership role in continuous improvement process to improve quality and efficiency and reduce costs.
    • Administer local corrective action system (QPulse), QMS document control system, and support new hire quality training requirements and competency evaluations for all employees.
    • Responsible for accomplishing daily business goals and objectives and establishing a culture of positive employee relations while ensuring all processes, best practices, and policies are adhered to consistently.
    • Maintains a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards
    • Represent the Company during on-site visits by our customer's quality control representatives and/or auditors.
    • Comply with Company safety policies, procedures, and best practices

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3 years of related experience in Quality in aerospace or automotive industry.
    • Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
    • This position is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) which requires U.S. person status. ITAR defines U.S. person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. Green Card Holder), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
    • To ensure the health and safety of our employees, newly hired employees must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 to the extent permitted under federal, state, and local law .

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BA/BS in manufacturing, engineering, or business
    • ISO/AS knowledge
    • Aerospace industry experience
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprint specifications
    • Excellent written and communication skill
