AVP – MARKETS CLIENT STRATEGY

As a Barclays Markets Client Strategy AVP, you are expected to work in a high intensity, results-oriented team environment as part of the Markets Client Strategy team in NY/London. You will produce Business Strategy presentations, Business Performance reviews, Client Briefs, Pitch books, Gameplans, Monthly Performance packs and ad-hoc customized analysis. This team works in conjunction with Sales, SRM, Trading and Research teams as well as Business Managers and Infrastructure partners.

What will you be doing?

• Producing and analysing 'Markets Performance' MI for Senior Management

• Working on key Strategic Initiatives for Markets business

• Supporting Deputy Head of Markets, Global Head of SRM, Head of Financing and Sales Heads and their teams with the running of various client initiatives

• Preparing regular and ad hoc client analytics and presentations to be used by the Sales Management team and/or Client Strategy.

• Analysing and supporting the delivery of Coalition data, Sales budgets and various performance metrics.

• Markets Cross-Sell Initiative: Promote Cross-Selling, ensure robust framework in place to correctly recognise and reward cross-product collaboration across the CIB

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Excellent analytical and skills with advanced ability using MS Excel and PowerPoint

• Highly organised, proactive and diligent with strong attention to detail

• Good verbal and written communication – ability to communicate in a compelling, concise and precise manner

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

• Experience in Client Strategy, Strategy Consulting /Corporate Strategy at an Investment Bank or Business Management

• Knowledge of Markets Division at an Investment Bank
