ANALYST BA4

As a Barclays Analyst BA4, you will create and liaison between the traders and the middle or back office as well as the Firm’s internal finance, administration, and operations groups in New York, London, and other principal locations. You will be one of several key contacts for operations for any trade issues and performs trade affirmations, trade reconciliation and resolves trade and trade reporting exceptions.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Supporting traders covering variety of cash products

• Serving as a liaison between the desk and other areas within operations and the bank

• Monitoring and resolving exceptions in regulatory reporting

• Initiating any necessary improvements to processes and ensure new tasks and products are escalated to management for review and approval

• Managing ad hock queries from various external and internal clients

• Participating in user acceptance testing on technology enhancement to firm proprietary and vendor distributed applications

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Business preferred or equivalent

• Proficient in MS Office/computer skills 

• Experience with fixed income products a plus, specifically Rates and Credit products
