As a Barclays Associate Banker International Corporate Banking (ICB) Americas, you will be assisting in and contributing to the growth of one or more relationship managed portfolios in the area. You will be closely working with multiple Bankers to help customers and maximize overall satisfaction & advocacy. Barclays ICB is a key division within the Corporate and Investment Bank, offering a range of cross-border services to global corporates such as foreign exchange (FX), cash management and trade finance.

Salary / Rate Minimum: $75,000
Salary / Rate Maximum: $110,000

What will you be doing?

• Helping Bankers to develop and maintain new/existing client relationships; assisting in the delivery of good outcomes for our clients and our business
• Improving/maintaining solid Client Satisfaction scores by deepening your familiarity with clients and their needs in order to suggest appropriate products and solutions
• Developing a working knowledge of key Corporate Banking products, policies and processes and become the ‘go-to’ for a wide range of requests
• Assisting in client meeting preparation and attending meetings with Banker(s) where appropriate
• Deepening awareness and limiting the potential for fraud across the portfolio(s) by driving discussion of current fraud trends and how to protect against them
• Leading, initiating, and managing the onboarding of new client relationships including crossborder activity
• Working with KYC team to obtain all relevant documentation; assisting with portfolio contact strategy, including input into Client Account Plans
• Helping with several business management duties, including client maintenance, CRM system support, RD queries and ad hoc initiatives

What we’re looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree is desired and two or more years of experience in a customer facing roles is required
• Prior experience at a retail branch, corporate environment, or non-banking experience with account management experience will be considered
• Prior experience in delivering results through building relationships and maintaining solid customer relationships and internal network relationships is required
• Prior experience in client service and communication, planning and organizational skills is required
