    CLIENT DATA STRATEGY MANAGER WHIPPANY, NJ

    As a Barclays Client Data Strategy Manager, you will support the implementation of Wholesale Client Onboarding & Group Financial Crime Operations data strategy, as set forth by the Head of Client Data Utility. You will be leading calls and executing on the data governance and data management plans. You will also focus on strengthening the organization’s data management operations and expanding the use of data to inform support Wholesale Client Onboarding & Group Financial Crime Operations innovative work.

    WHAT WILL YOU  BE DOING?

    •    Leading monthly forums for senior stakeholders across Wholesale Client Onboarding & Group Financial Crime Operations •    Tracking, managing and governing proactive and reactive data validations for all Critical Data Elements  •    Completing data dictionary and data lineage work in support of data strategy for Wholesale Client Onboarding & Group Financial Crime Operations •    Ensuring appropriate data governance standards are upheld •    Supporting the work for the client hierarchies for Wholesale Clients  •    Partnering with Technology organization to ensure logical and physical data models exist for critical data elements •    Partnering with Chief Data Office organization to oversee data remediation plan activity for wholesale data 

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    •    Deep understanding of technology and data infrastructure across a heavily regulated environment •    Understanding of data management standards and data governance principles •    Knowledge of KYC Onboarding within financial services •    Excellent analytical / problem solving skills

    SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

    •    Experience mobilizing and managing large stakeholder forums  •    Knowledge of financial crime landscape and associated regulatory requirements and risks •    Experience of leading through data management changes within financial services
