MUNICIPALS SYNDICATE VICE PRESIDENT NEW YORK

As a Barclays Municipals Syndicate Vice President, you will join our Municipals Underwriting business and work in partnership with Municipals Banking and Sales to help our Municipals Issuer clients bring new debt issuance to market. Working with colleagues internal and external to the department, you will have the opportunity to provide your market insight and market pricing estimates (“scales”) using your understanding of the Municipal market, fixed income products, and new issues process.

WHAT WILL YOU BE  DOING?

•    Collaborating with Muni Sales on Muni investor allocations, transaction marketing and outreach, and issuer-related inquiries •    Processing trade tickets, manage order books and deal flow, pricing information dissemination •    Understanding MSRB/SEC requirements and assisting with the competitive bid new issue process •    Attending and contributing to underwriting meetings, pitches, and marketing materials •    Obtaining, analyzing, and maintaining market-related information for use in transaction pricing and client presentations

WHAT WE’RE   LOOKING FOR:

•    Bachelor’s Degree  •    Five+ years of related Municipals experience •    Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint •    Good communicator who presents well to clients with excellent organization, time-management skills, and attention to detail

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

•    Series 7 and/or 52 and 63 •    Established Municipal Client relationships •    Graduate Degree

WHERE WILL YOU BE WORKING?

You will be working at our Americas Headquarters at 745 Seventh Avenue. This 37-story office tower is located in Times Square in the heart of Manhattan and features a cafeteria, fitness center and state-of-the-art LED signage on the facade of the building.
