    BUSINESS ANALYSIS AND SOLUTIONING LEAD

    As a Business Analysis and Solutioning Lead at Barclays, you will have a significant foundation impact in on the Solution Design, Estimating and Analysis function within the Business Engagement & and Demand Management function in US Consumer Bank Technology (USCB). In this role you will primarily focus on establishing the Business Analysis / Business Solutions Analysis capability with a view to continuous improvement and maturing the capability in line with the Agile Maturity Upfit.

    WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

    •     Working with Architecture / Solutions Design, establishing a Business Analysis function and delivery of commercially proven solutions achieving complex business goals. 

    •     Developing a culture of collaboration, innovation, and high performance. Strong strategic vision balanced with pragmatism to support the e2e outcomes required

    •     Analysing and distilling complex information quickly, presenting to non-Technology colleagues in a clear and succinct manner.

    •     Managing the solution designs, estimates and development team architects to develop robust doable solutions. You will be comfortable driving strategic change

    •     Collaborating with the Lead Architect, Solution Architects and the Technology and Business functions of the group on improvements

    •     Creating the BA/ BSA capability, working across teams to establish a mature estimation framework that uses “story points” as currency 

    •     Partnering with various teams to define configuration VS versus customisation “menu” to fast-track estimation and enabling faster speed-to-market and informed decision making

    WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

    •     Experience in banking / financial services is essential with significant practical experience of working across Product Office, Technology and Business stakeholders 

    •     Excellent oral verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, and ability to facilitate cross-functional cooperation across senior stakeholders

    •     Operates with High energy, hands-on as needed with  and results & and goal-oriented approach.

    •     Well organized with excellent time management, and ability to work in a pressurized environment

    SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

    •     Financial or Cards industry relevant background

    •     Graduate / Post graduate degree in Computer Science, or related fields

    •     Experience of working to tight deadlines in a fast-moving environment

    •     Knowledge of the program delivery lifecycle to outline impacts to delivery in the initial stages of design and solutioning.
