BUSINESS ANALYST

As a Barclays Business Analyst, you are expected to support the team to ensure they have all of the requirements captured in Agile User Stories to ensure the has enough detail to deliver their software solution by coordinating with Business, End Users, Stake holders, Technical Leads.  Business Analysts are expected to maintain the multiple project backlog in agile tool and specialize in Analytics (Data, Reporting, Data Metrics).

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Collaborating with the Tech Product Owner and the Solution Engineer and assist in the decomposition of Features into User Stories

• Working with the Tech Product Owner, Solution Engineer and Team Members to ensure Story meets its definition of ready

• Identifying dependencies and coordinating with external teams to plan and track dependencies ahead of the execution Sprint

• Providing the agenda for team Story Refinement or Grooming meetings

• Detailing business and functional analysis of existing/upcoming features and documenting the same

• Analyzing analytics and accessibility requirements 

• Meeting with Product, XD for the backlog creation and refinement

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Five plus years of experience in creating and maintaining the backlog in agile tool by getting detailed requirements from stakeholders, business, tech leads, product owners

• Five plus years of experience in working in Agile Scrum 

• Excellent communication skills with immense attention to detail

• Expert in quickly understanding business needs and requirement gathering

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

• Banking/Credit card experience is a plus

• Good to have: previous knowledge of Jira tool 

• Specialization on Analytics (Data, reporting)

• Must have previous scrum and Agile knowledge
