WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Supporting operational performance and improvement, while providing comprehensive operational oversight to multiple teams

• Building and utilising reporting in a range of tools including SQL, Python and Tableau

• Utilising design skills to produce and maintain clear, articulate & insightful reporting

• Actively driving improvements to ineffective or inefficient processes and procedures, applying Lean methodology and sharing best practices.

• Improving technical knowledge and analytical capabilities through personal development and training

• Understanding Barclays Group processes & policies to ensure adherence and completing appropriate data reconciliation

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Experience with scripting languages (VBA, Python, SQL (essential)) and data visualization software (Tableau preferred)

• Experience in statistical analytics, undertaking data manipulation of large datasets through the use of scripting languages, with a willingness to learn new languages

• Experience in optimising and automating reporting, identifying appropriate opportunities to do so in order to drive capacity benefits.

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

• Degree or record of accomplishment in statistics, mathematics, computer science or related scientific disciplines.

• Will have previously worked in an environment that has enabled them to gain a broad understanding of Financial Services.     

• Experienced in stakeholder management at a senior level.

• Proven experience of managing operational processes/ leading small teams.
