US EQUITIES DERIVATIVES BUSINESS MANAGER

As a Barclays US Equities Derivatives Business Manager, you will provide senior level Business Management support to the Equity Derivatives businesses in the US. This is an excellent opportunity for you to lead the implementing of the strategic goals of the Global Markets business. Working closely with the regional and global Business Managers (BMs), Business Leads and their teams, the BMs drive and manage change and development of the business, working in conjunction with the trading, sales and infrastructure teams.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

• Providing senior level support with the day-to-day to the Equity Derivatives Trading, Sales and Structuring teams

• Liaising with Markets Risk and Control team, Legal, Risk, HR, PCG, Audit, Compliance, BCM and ORM teams

• Providing resolution of operational issues in a timely manner

• Providing support to Equities management in preparation for supervisory reviews

• Actively ensuring close connectivity and coordination with the Global Equities Business Management team, ensuring distribution of business updates and joint initiatives

• Understanding and coordinating vigilance and actions around Risk and Control environment

• Performing Product Audits and Monitoring and Testing Reviews

• Performing Risk Control Self Assessments / Unauthorized Trading Reviews

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience in Business Management

• Previous experience as a Business Manager / COO within the Financial Industry

• Experience / extensive knowledge of profitability, COI, savings, budgeting

SKILLS THAT WILL HELP YOU IN THE ROLE:

• Previous experience as Equity Derivatives Business Manager / COO

• Good Equity Derivatives knowledge

• Proven project management skills
