The Business Banking Division provides banking products/services to local businesses with up to $25MM in annual sales. The intern will work within the Business Banking strategy and sales distribution support team with responsibility for developing data driven strategies, insights, and program recommendations that improve overall performance and achieve business objectives for the division. Analyze performance trends and recommends action plans to enhance business results.

Responsibilities may include market/competitive/product analysis, change management, planning/forecasting, sales performance analysis, and analytics.Act as project manager for multiple short term projects/analyses and for supporting operational processes. Provide consultative, value added support in the delivery of business initiatives or provide detailed analysis insights/recommendations that drive the development of the business.

Duties:

• Analyze corporate benchmarking data and competitive information to develop strategic insights that support the annual strategic planning process.
• Support monthly business performance review process and executive presentation requests with internal sales and operational performance data analysis.
• Research the small business and entrepreneurial network within the bank’s footprint and develop recommendations for partnerships and market opportunities.
• Perform analysis to uncover of sales performance trends, support market reviews and design action plans.
• Assist in divisional project management responsibilities focused on supporting delivery execution and change management for large scale business initiatives.
• Develop product and/or pricing recommendations based market intelligence and development of a business case.
• Short-term projects as requested to review/justify business strategies and resource deployment.
• Act as “consultant” to high impact divisional projects on an as needed basis.

• Must have an expected graduation date between December 2018 – June 2019.
• Must have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00or above.
• Must be available to work full-time, 40 hours per week, for the duration of the program.
